Join us for a new yoga series designed for families to connect, move, and unwind together! This engaging class fosters mindfulness, strength, and balance for everyone—parents, caregivers, and kids of all ages. Through fun yoga poses, interactive activities, and relaxation exercises, families can bond and enjoy quality time in a welcoming community.

Sleep Struggles to Sweet Dreams (4 months – 2years)
Location: The Nest Wellness Collective (In person & offered virtually)
 
For: Tired Parents (ages 4 months-2 years)
What to Expect: This workshop was designed to empower sleep deprived parents of babies and toddlers with essential knowledge of pediatric sleep. Led by Katie Eppley, a pediatric sleep consultant, we discuss the importance of pediatric sleep, four obstacles that keep most parents from getting the sleep they deserve and three ways to set both you and your child up for successful sleep. We end the workshop with Q&A to answer all your burning sleep questions!
Dive into the essentials of pelvic health with “The Ultimate Pregnancy Prep Workshop,” where we reveal everything you need to know about preparing for and navigating pregnancy from a pelvic PT’s perspective. This workshop covers the critical components of pelvic floor health, practical exercises, and expert tips to help you navigate the changes and challenges of pregnancy with confidence. Get ready to empower yourself with knowledge and strategies for a healthier, more comfortable pregnancy journey.

Mom & Me Strong is a dynamic workshop designed to empower individuals with essential knowledge and practical skills for optimal pelvic health. The event kicks off with a 15-minute education segment that covers the basics of pelvic anatomy, function, and common concerns, followed by a 30-minute strength class focused on exercises that enhance pelvic stability and core strength, suitable for all fitness levels. We wrap up with a 15-minute community chat, fostering connection and discussion about insights gained during the session.

This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. 
 
Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Welcoming a newborn is exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming! In this interactive workshop, you’ll gain confidence in caring for your little one. We’ll cover essential topics like safe sleep, feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques. Perfect for expecting parents and caregivers, this class will prepare you for the joys and challenges of bringing a baby home. Whether it’s your first baby or a refresher, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

The 4th trimester is a transformative season of life filled with new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Join Dr. Kristin McLellan, PT, DPT, for an informative and empowering workshop designed to help expecting parents prepare for the postpartum journey.

This workshop is perfect for those who are currently pregnant and want to set realistic expectations and equip themselves with tools to navigate this unique phase of life. Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend!

We will cover everything from the first few hours after birth—what to expect for both the birthing person and baby—to setting boundaries with family and friends as you transition into parenthood. We’ll discuss timelines for physical and emotional healing, as well as how and when to safely reintroduce movement and exercise. Topics like intimacy and reconnecting with your partner will be explored, along with strategies for transitioning back to work 

Join Great Lakes Serenity for a 60-minute Infant Massage class designed for families. The session will cover:

  • A brief history of infant massage (30 seconds)
  • Important precautions and contradictions
  • Oils to use and those to avoid
  • Key benefits: enhance bonding, improve sleep, reduce postpartum depression and anxiety, and help with gas and colic
  • Basic massage strokes and techniques specific for gas and colic
  • Handouts with helpful information

Amanda will demonstrate the techniques on a baby doll, but families are welcome to bring their babies along. Please bring your own lotion or oil that you know your baby doesn’t have any reactions to. We will discuss how to test products at home for safety (24-hour skin test required). If you prefer not to bring your baby, Amanda has spare baby dolls available.
